Registry cleaners and repairers

Does anyone know how and where I can download a full registry program? Because I downloaded Registry Mechanic 3.0 and keeps saying I need to purchase it in order for full operation, but it's in US currency! So does anyone know where I can get one which is completely free or at a reasonable UK currency?

easycleaner is good. Just make sure to back up your registry first with a system restore point and type HELP in the skip section if you are using win XP

Cool

I've been using RegscrubXP with good results. By that I mean it hasn't removed anything yet that has caused me any problems.

I use Registry Healer, but it's not free. RegClean is still free in a full version. You can download it here:

Wow! Thanks all for the replies. I downloaded EasyCleaner and got it installed. When I do do the scans, what do I to get rid of the files that come up? Do I simply click delete? Sounds dumb I know but I'm so paranoid about messing things up.

do a system restore or go to 'C:\Program Files\ToniArts\EasyCleaner\Undo" and you should be able to undo it (I never used that feature though so I dont know if it works well)

Thanks ghost. It did work. I just put the registry back to how it was, all cluttered and packed with errors, typed Help in the skip area, deleted all the invalid stuff and now all is fine.

Thanks all for the input!
