Partition Magic 8

Has anybody had any issues with Partition Magic 8 and windows XP with either service pack 1 installed or Symantic's Ghost installed . Mine just dosen't seem to work with either of these 2 programs installed, it just freezes the machine up has anybody come scross this before.

uninstall ghost, you do not need it running all the time, just when you need it to ghost the drive.

I use partition magic all the time on xp systems and linux systems formated both fat 32 and ntfs with no problems.

so it must be norton that giving you the problems.

I'd agree. Another conflict may be if you have your AV running. I make it a habit to shut down all running apps before using PM8.
