Icons and XP
I just downloaded a pack of icons so I can change all my icons in XP, but all it is was a folder in a rar file with hundreds of .ico files in it - no .ddl files, or .iconzip ect files which e-icons, style xp ect use to open them.
So, how would I go about making it so I can change all the icons with these programs? thanks

I don't understand the question. To change an icon, right-click on it, select "Change Icon," and then browse to the file that holds the new icon. ICO files will still work in XP.

You can download Icon sets which change all the icons in XP automatically with programs like Style XP and E-Icons...
...I can't manually change over 100 icons, especially when some you can't change like that... |

Ah, I get it now. You're trying to use those new-fangled XP themes. Unfortunately, I have no experience with that.
At least changing 100 icons manually would give you something to do for a while.

I use IconPackager which you can download it from
www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/ and you can download icons from wincustomize.com The thing is if the .rar file only has icons and no other files in the rar how will the program know which icon is for what? If you want to use those icons then you just might have to do them manually but you could go to wincustomize.com and see if you see any icons that you like there and just use the program that I gave the link to.
