gearsec.exe
This is annoying me. This thing is running in the backgroung, its not malware since nothing detects it. I looked it up and it sais it has something to do with CD burning eventhough i have nothing from gear software. In winpatrol, in the services section its called gear security service. Its not in the startup list. What is this?

It is a driver for CD-RW, released by GEAR software and used by iTunes and some other software to providing support for burning CDs, and usually installed on Windows XP as a service. Its default location is "%SYSTEMROOT%\system32". On some machines, GEARSecurity can not be started up due to some uncertain incompatible problems.

I have iTunes, looked in services and there it was. iTunes keeps loading stuff in the background! Just like that iPod service.
