Is There a Program That Will Extract and Organize Data From a List
Does anyone know if there is a way of using Word or some other program to extract and organize data from a big list without having to type it up manually.
Here is a rough example of a list of data to have extracted and organized from a huge list. 1917 Boston Red Sox, Stolen Bases, 650. Singles, 1024. Doubles, 600 Triples, 900 Home Runs, 100 etc. etc. etc. 1918 New York Giants Stolen Bases, 2000 Singles, 5000 Doubles, 16 Triples, 400 Home Runs, 600 etc. etc. etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd like to have specific information extracted from the list and then organized by year for the purpose of close comparison: 1917, Boston Red Sox, Home Runs, 100 1918, New York Giants, Home Runs,600 ------------------------------------------------------------------ Then have another list by home run leaders 600 Home Runs, New York Giants, 1918 100 Home Runs, Boston Red Sox, 1917 |
