I have seen many guides telling you how to build your own pc, but have never seen any of building your own laptop. Is it possible to build your own laptop and get parts for it easily?

It's possible and parts are available, but it's not like you think. You buy a "barebones kit" and add things like processor, ram, hard drive, possibly a video chip, and optical drive. It's not cost effective. The kit will have the case, screen, and motherboard preassembled.

The only other way possible to build something similar to a laptop is building a computer in a breif case, using a laptop screen. Though you will need a outlet to use it, it is a good portable pc.
