Which laptop to get????

Well I'm getting a laptop for my birthday/graduation present and I want it to be be something like this:
1.) Pretty light (using it for class in college)
2.) Good for programming (compiles pretty fast)
3.) Has decent battery life
4.) Plays World of warcraft (even at minimum settings)

It can't be any more than $1300 and it should preferrably be from Best Buy as they have a 12 months no interest financing plan on laptops and the store is pretty close so I can take it in for repairs if need be. I saw this one last time I was at the store : (Click Here). Thanks for any help in advance!

Of course I've checked those sites =). I just like best buy's financing plan the best and I really liked that laptop I found in the link above^^. My question is, would that be able to run World of Warcraft on absolute minimum settings? Also, has anyone used a tablet PC and do they break ez?? Thanks in advance

The only laptops at Best Buy that look like they're any good are the Toshibas. I would not buy an HP under any circumstances. You really should look at Dell; you can get a much better laptop for about $1000 and then use DPA financing (even with interest you'll save money).

Take a look at this:

That's a pretty loaded laptop for $1000.

hmmm

well, I actually went to best buy today and found this : http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1125465158162

I really like it but I need to know if it will be able to run WoW on minimum settings.... It has the integrated ATI 200M IGP video card with 128MB of DEDICATED memory (unusual for an integrated card). Because of this, I heard it would be well capable of playing World of Warcraft....is this true?

i know that is more thatn 1300 but i would imagine they would have some cheaper ones like a 3700 or a 3200
and gateway makes a good computer
we have a contract with them at the college where i work and we dont have many problems with them
and a laptop like that would be able to run many games a pretty good settings

You also wanted a light laptop with good battery life. I guarantee that one will not meet those criteria. And as I said, HPs are mediocre at best and downright terrible at worst. I have never had a good experience with a consumer-level HP or Compaq laptop.

Take a look at this page:

http://www.pcworld.com/resource/arti...8,pg,13,00.asp

HP and Compaq are now the same company, so the Compaq ratings also apply to HP PCs. As you can see, Dell and IBM are tops for laptops. I might buy a Toshiba considering their excellent reliability, but I wouldn't buy anything else.

EDIT: Also check this out:
