Laptop Drive question...

I have a laptop without a CD ROM drive, can I get any CD-ROM drive and attache it with a cable of some sort?

Yes it is possible to get an external CD/DVD ROM drive depending on what connectors you have available. If you dont have the newer connectors like USB 2.0 or 1394 (Firewire) http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/Su...ubCategory=420 you can even find PC Cards that will give you those connectiion options like : http://www.newegg.com/ProductSort/Su...ubCategory=421.
