Upgrading from Plam to Pocket PC

I presently have a Palm Tungsten E and I am looking to get a Palm TX or a HP iPAQ rx1950 Pocket PC. I know the Plam TX has a faster processor and more Ram, but is the overall performance of the HP better than the Palm TX? Is the Pocket PC based OS better than the Plam OS? I have lock ups with the Palm Tungsten E when trying to scroll over photos in a PDF newspaper, when using the Repligo 2.0 viewer. Could this be because the Tungsten CPU is 126 Mhz. I found a good deal on the Palm TX, but I have read some bad things with its battery. I aslo have some battery issues with the Tungsten E, and the Tunsgten E will lose all programs and must be either sodft or hard reset. So, is the Pocket PC better or is the Palm TX just as good? Thanks.
