Logitech Wireless Headphones for the iPod

Well guys, Logitech has done it again...

I went out and got thier wireless headphones for my iPod as a birthday gift to myself and these things are amazing. I can walk at least 30 feet away from the transmitter and still get crystal clear sound.

The Volume, Skip and Play/Pause buttons on the side are really handy, you don't even have to touch your iPod to change songs on a playlist. They also come with an adapter allowing you to use them for anything with a headphone jack - your computer, CD player, Zen Micro - you name it. Both the transmitter and headphones are rechargeable.

And I'm sure most of you would never pay $120 for a pair of headphones but if you look hard enough, you can find some great deals. At CompUSA, they were 15% off, plus they came with a $50 mail in rebate. The total came to about $55, which is a great deal.

Thanks for reading
That is all, feel free to post,
-MakeYourslf2012

Hmm, might get em when i have some spare cash. Seems pretty nice. Maybe you should write a detailed review on them in the review forum.

Yeah, I was going to post this in the Review forum, but I didn't put alot of time into it - I did it during the breaks in the superbowl.

Anyway, if you guys are looking for a score - I give it a 9 out of 10. (-1 for not being adjustable. C'mon! what if you have a really small head?)

Sounds / looks pretty interesting. I might look into it for my Lyra 2780, but at the moment I am satisfied with the headphones I have.

i don't get it.
i just bought an ipod nano and my fat thumb (not really fat) covers 3/4 of the whole thing. that thing is about the size of any usable control panel anyway.
not really sure about the advantage of something that makes your portable player stationary while you attach something portable to it/yourself.

Are you talking about Logitech's set? If so, your must be defective, I can turn mine on half the volume and still hear them across the room.

I have a big, clunky, apple iPod photo (when I say big and clunky, I am compareitivley speaking), so its a bg advantage when I'm at work and don't have to reach across the desk to Play/Pause or change the song or volume.

Yep, the logitech's. The white ones specifically for the ipod.. The ipod is capable of 107db (or there abouts) the logitech's produced maybe 80-90db for me. So outside noise became a distraction. I couldnt use them now anyway, my new iPod doesn't have the remote port t the BT transmitter wont fit, i'll prob trash them.

Ebay's always good for something - I'd bet they'd go for at least $50, Best Buy just sold out of them.

Alright guys -

It's been 2 months and I've gone through two pairs of these headphones. When I purchased these from CompUSA, I - thankfully- got replacement plan; so if they break within a year, CompUSA will replace them, hands down.

The first time they broke was the begining of March - the headphones themselves would not turn on. So I took them back and got a new set and all was good...

...for about another month. The second pair broke again this weekend with the same exact problem. I usually have nothing bad to say about Logitech products, but these are just crappy headphones.

I give them an A for effort...

Anyway, I took them back and replaced them with these

IceMat Black Siberia Headset (which also came this "USB external souncard")

These are very nice - great sound quality and bass, comfortabe, and they go up to 104dB.

I'm thinking about writing a thread and taking a couple pictures on this product for the review forum.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences, logitech has been a great company for me (knock on wood), so I hope I never encounter issues like that. Good thing you had a warranty. Glad to see you got a new pair you are happy with. I will look forward to a little review on it.
