crashing problem on laptop
Hi, sorry for this rather <
I've had a laptop for a while that I stopped using a while ago 'cos it kept crashing. Since then I have had a need for it so have tried to work with it. It is running XP and originally came with only 128MB of Ram, so now it has 256, but still it crashes. Blue screen of death is all I see. For a split second and then black. Tech stuff is that it is a celeron 1.13. Other point of interest is the battery is totally dead, always charging and always 0% charged. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm guessing that it's one for the bin as long as I can muster some cash for a new one, but it would be good to get another year or two out of it if possilble. |

Go into Control Panel/System Properties/Startup and Recovery and uncheck Automatically restart. That way you can see what the error is on the BSOD. Then post back here with the mesage.
