HI ! Im new here ! a few questions ...
Ahem .. im not new here but new in the portable world
I just got myself a used IBM certified R31 IBM laptop : P3-M 1Ghz,30Gig,256 Mb,ethernet, modem, dvd/cd-rw. Dirt cheap ! : 359$ CND. ( employe rabate do help too .. )I restored the hidden partition because it's a waste of space.. loaded it with a dual-boot WinXPpro/WIN98SE ... (win98 is for my old games that dont work in xp ) loaded all the drivers for both OS's and it work like a charm in XP. However in Win98 the right-clik button of my USB logitech Optical mouse don't work ... if i swap the mouse with the exact same USB model but with a good old ball instead of the optical it work ... any idea ? Also , i have a note here saying that if my battery don't hold a charge like expected i should charge it and discharge it five times in a row ... im not sure of what they mean by ''discharge'' .. using it until dead ? or using some other methods to discharge it ? thx in advance !!!!!

Yes, use it till it's totally dead and shuts down.
You need to install the Logitech mouse drivers in 98 - looks like the default Windows drivers aren't suitable for the mouse. |
