What should I keep?
I have a Sony Vaio Laptop (vgn-fs740/w), and I want to remove all of the Sony software because it seems to be too much overhead and causes my computer to run more slowly. After uninstalling most of it, I wasn't able to control the volume or anything else through the "Fn" key. Does anybody know which software I will need to keep in order to make the function keys work? The software I have available to get rid of is:
Vaio Central Vaio Event Service Vaio Light Flo Wallpaper Vaio Long Battery Life Wallpaper Vaio Media AC3 Decoder 1.0 Vaio Media Integrated Server 4.2 Vaio Media Distribution 4.0 Vaio Media Registration Tool Vaio Original Screen Saver Vaio Original Screen Saver Vaio Scene SD Wide Contents Vaio Power Management Vaio Registration Vaio Support Central Vaio Update 2 Vaio Wireless Utility Vaio Zone Remote Commander Thanks to anybody in advance. -Tom |
