Hi
I understand that you have dis-assembled the laptop, but have you observed how it was removed. Was it screws/plastic-locks, etc that hooked up the assembly in one piece..Well, I accidentally came across your thread while looking up for info on the vaio. http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=136952 Even after removing the screws, if the parts does not seem to come apart, then look for small plastic locks that are holding them as a single unit. I have played around with many Sony electronic goods, like walkman, stereo hifi, etc etc and have been an ardent fan of theirs! Make sure that you need to examine the unit closely enough to find this out. Otherwsie u need to get your hands on its Service Manual. Every Sony product has its own Service manual which is used by their Authorised Sony Service Centers. If you have a look on the net you will even find many of them on sale! all the best for your venture.. Ed. |
