Dell Laptop Backlight...

wasnt sure where to post this - so i posted here too....

ok - in shop we got a dell laptop - screen was bad - we replaced the screen - worked fine - but was very dim, like the backlight was off...

so i took off the keyboard... and reseated the connection to the screen and it came on bright as ever - nice and lovely...

well now... intermittenly (sp?) the screen goes dark...

reseating it fixes it everytime, but only temporarily....

any suggestions....

???

Maybe use a dab of hot glue at the connection to hold the connector in place.
