Dell Inspirion 700m touch pad problem
Hey everyone. I am not sure where to post this so here was as good a place as any. I have a Dell Inspiron 700m laptop and the touch pad will not move the cursor around. I tried the support center on dell but, the detailed instructions still didn't fix it. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get the cursor to move using the touch pad. If I hook a usb mouse up I can move the cursor, but the touch pad still doesn't work. ANy help would be great.
Thanks Extreme.

Is the laptop still on warranty? Contact Dell.

Go into your Control Panel. Select Mouse. Make sure that the touchpad is enabled.

Yes, it is all enabled. I will be contacting Dell tommorrow. I have a complete 3 year warranty so I will have them do a house call.
