problem wit old laptop...
my uncle got me this really old sony viao i think the model is PCG-F650 and the thing just wont power on. i tried plugging in the AC adapter and even bought a new battery for it but it still wouldnt go on. The AC adapter's light turns on been when i try to power on the laptop it just sits there
any suggestions? |

i have a vaio, its newer than yours but it occasionally wont power on, i think its a BIOS issue to do with APM/ACPI etc. as for your issue, take it apart and have a good fiddle around!
 (but dont break anything)
