HP Pavilion N5190 laptop keyboard problem
My friend has an HP Pavilion N5190 laptop. He had a problem about 2 months ago with the letter "C" on his computer not working. At times when you depress the key nothing happens and at other times the key would stick and keep repeating itself. When I wrote about it on this forum about 2 months ago it was suggested to remove and reinsert the cable for the keyboard. This fixed the problem at the time, but now the problem has come back. I tried removing and reinserting the cable again, but the problems remains. Can the "C" key itself be cleaned or repaired or is the keyboard now junk or is there some other problem? Thanks.

Have you taken the C key off and checked that there is no dirt or gunk under there?

I took the cover off the "C" key and didn't see anything there. I blew it out with an air duster. It didn't help.
