Cleaning a Toshiba Satellite! Most viewers

are here, so I'm addressing the question with you. Before Christmas, my daughters Toshiba Satellite was shutting off on her a lot. I was able to suck a lot of fuzz up to the two fan screens with a shop vac. With a pin I removed quite a bit, but not 100%, and it ran good. Now it's doing the same thing and she is coming home next weekend. Can I remove the back cover so I can clean it better? Any tips would be appreciated!

What model of Toshiba is this? Would it happen to be an M30X, M35X, A70, or A75? There's a well-known problem with those that causes them to shut down randomly. Toshiba has a service bulletin out and there's a class action lawsuit.

It is an A75! I'll do a search to see if I can find any more info on this. Thank You!
