Upgrade for Laptop
Hi, I'm planning on buying a new motherboard for my laptop in order to get a new gfx card. I have a ATI Mobility 9000 IGP 128mb and my new motherboard will have a ATI Mobility 9600 128mb.
1. Will this be a big improvement on frame rates and better all performance. 2. Do i have any other choices other than getting a whole new Motherboard? 3. Can I only use Compaq motherboards with my Compaq laptop, becuase the 9600 is the highest card they offer .Thank You |

Is there an upgrade mother board for that particular laptop? If there is the cost of the mother board and video card could equal an all new laptop.
