Razr's are the coolest looking cell phones I've seen, but do they have the function? In particular, the V3i, does it have a 2 MP camera? Are these pictures good quality at all, 2mp isn't that much. I hear the phone is bad quality, it breaks like a month later and rusts or gets dust behind the screen. What have been your guys experience with this phone. Would you recommend it?
As a reference: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...&Sku=M151-2022 (canadian prices) thanks |

I don't own one, but I've used them alot (from friends, co-workers, family) and I was really impressed.
Of course it functions as a phone, but the clarity of the photo and sound are like nothing I've even seen on a cellular phone. I've never seen any of them break. I give 'em a two thumbs up and I say go for it. Although, I'm sure if you go to a major electronics store like Best Buy (I'm not sure what they have up in Ontario) you can get the phone MUCH cheaper. Here in Michigan, I've seen them in the paper for as low as $90USD. Another suggestion is the Motorola SLVR http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...&sku=M151-2020 If you go directly through cingular, they offer it with iTunes too. |

My brother has one and really doesn't like it all that much. A coworker also has one and doesn't like it all that much either. Another guy has one and loves it. So my personal experience is that one out of three recommend it.

It's a great looking phone. Functionally, it's nothing special - it's just an average phone. I have the Cingular V3 with the VGA camera. It doesn't have a lot of memory - only 5mb I believe. The OS is *SLOW*. The screen is gorgeous - in low light conditions. Outdoors on a bright day, it's very difficult to read it. The phonebook is VERY clunky to use - you can enter multiple numbers for a single contact (home, work, cell, email, etc.) but each entry shows up separately and it sorts by FIRST name. If you store numbers on the sim card, you can't designate different types of numbers - so I gave up on that and back my phonebook up on my PC using Phonetools instead. I highly recommend you keep it in some kind of case. This is the case I use:
http://www.dealtree.net/cart/select_item.cfm?cont=67674 Bottom line? The phone was a Christmas present from my sister - I would not have bought one myself, I was very happy with my old Nokia 8260 but the writing was on the wall - I had to switch to a GSM plan or switch providers sooner or later.
