Im hoping someone can help me. my iPod has been on this screen, that says iPod Diagnostics and it lists some tests and scans, for a week. iTunes wont recognise it so i cant restore it. I tried evrything the dumb support on the website said and nothing worked. please help me someone.

You might want to check out apple's support site. My friend had a similar issue with his ipod a while back, and we found the solution after a few minutes.

Choose the Reset option in Diagnostic mode. That should exit it. If not, hold down the play/pause and center buttons until it resets.

Here, this is off Apple's site and what worked when his ipod did the same thing:
Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.) Press and hold the Menu and Select buttons until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 10 seconds. You may need to repeat this step. Just because you went there, doesn't mean you found what you needed. If this and thefulton's suggestion doesn't work, it may be worth calling their support site, or taking the ipod to an apple store. |
