It just died....
Hi, i have a Fujitsu Amilo M7400. I bought it refurbished and have had it about a month. The power connection has always been a bit dodgy, needs to be at a certain angle to work but wasnt a huge problem.
Last night i was using it and it was fine, but the power connection kept being lost so i thought i would use battery power for a while, at one point it gave me a low battery warning and i thought i reconnected power, but clearly did not as the laptop just switched itself off. Anyway i got it back after a while using mains power and carried on using it for an hour or so and it was fine, battery was at about 25% and charging when i looked after about 40 minutes. About 20 minutes after that it was sitting there by itself running a defrag type program, and just switched itself off again, and it made that regular shutdown sighing type of noise. However it will not come back on, its just completely dead, i dont see how it can be the battery as it that was probably almost half charged when it happened, but it does seem odd that it happened just an hour after the battery problem. But i tried again this morning and its just completely dead, not a flicker of life. I have no idea what to do, anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be? |

I hope it was sold with some kind of warranty.
