Aquired above (TS30H) laptop from a bin.
Battery flat but as power supply was in the same bin can run it off mains or at least try to.
When powered up, machine boots up ofter running scandisc but when displaying a "Windows mouse support" message, the macine freezes up and will not accept any input.
Any ideas? (apart from returning it to the bin.)

I know its old technology but I hate to throw anything away. There must be somebody out there who knows the answer.

Have you tried starting it in safe mode?
