Red face help, just spilt red wine in tosh M40

Hi, Help! just spilt a full glass of '94 Rijoca into my Tosh M40 laptop.

want to dismatle it to wash quickly as it is night time here in UK and can't get professional help till morning.

Taken all the screws out that I can see from the case and still can't get it apart.

anyone know how to dismantle the case to get the keyboard and gubbins out before it corrodes?

Best Regards

Check this site for toshiba dismantling: http://www.irisvista.com/tech/

I think many Toshiba's use snap in keyboards, should be little clips along the front of the keyboard that you release and the keyboard should pop out.

I'm sorry I can't answer the question about how to get the thing open but personally I'd have thought it was a better idea to just leave the laptop somewhere warm and dry to dry off without being messed with inside.

I don't think anything will corode over night...I'd guess that anything that's going to suffer will have already.

thnaks guys

Appreciate the replies, I will try tne link you sent. As like 1/4 bottle went into it and is now going sticky I did the only thing we used to do in the forces when an accident happened to Rf boards and that is to flush it through with clean water and dry it
