HP pavillion DV4000 keyboard not responsive
Hey guys,
My friend has a HP pavillion DV4000 (laptop) and he says for some reason he turns it on and the keyboard doesn't work. The mouse works fine. I thought it could be some virus or spyware but he can't get to his desktop since he can't type in the password. I told him to try an external keyboard. Anyone know what's wrong? Suggestions? Thanks |

I doubt it's malware. Yes, an external keyboard is the first logical troubleshooting step.
