Difference in Resolution for same size active matrix screen
I'm looking into purchasing the toshiba Portege M400 and I was wondering what kind of differences I might see between a 12.1" 1024x768 xga and the same size screen at 1400x1050 wxga+. Being that the screens are active matrix I thought maybe other than the size of things on the screen changing that maybe writing on the tablet me be different as well. Any insight would be helpfull.

Do you think or know if the native resolution of 1400x1050 would be adjustable to something not quite as difficult to read provided I found it difficult to read. (Using the display settings)
Also can anyone say if you can write on the screen if the screen is in a normal notebook position?(not flat in tablet mode) |

Anything besides native res is going to be blurry. You should be able to use the pen on the screen when it's in notebook mode, but be forewarned that it will be rather awkward to do so.
