Wireless card freezing system (GLC)

I went ahead and got the WRT54GL router and the WMP54G wireless card. When i put the card in the system though, it won't go past BIOS. It hangs at scanning the PCI bus. I HAVE TO MAKE THIS WORK!!

The system is as follows:

AMD K6II-400 processor
Asus P5A-B.... socket 7 motherboard
192MB RAM

Please help someone

Now the system will boot with it, but I can't get it to recognize my wireless network. its like the GUI of the software is buggy, cause I can't really click on the thing. The program will minimize, close and all that fine. Its like i can't use the GUI itself though... Any new news

EDIT: Tried reinstalling the card, now its abck to freezong at the PnP intialization.

What OS?

Try a different PCI slot, you may be having a resource conflict.
