dell latitude dvd rw wont play dvds
my dvd rw wont play copy protected dvds plays copy ones message says tv out enabled i have no idea what this means please help

Hi rosina irene and welcome to PCMech.
From your description your laptop thinks it's hooked up to a tv set. Is this somthing new, it ran DVDs before, or is it a new laptop that just isn't working right? Did anyone hook it up to a larger screen (I'm thinking LCD tv/monitor)? What are the settings for the display (Control Panel>Display) and software player?
