some help please
I am the current owner of a e-machine m5305 15" that I have been using 2 years with a athalon xp prossor. due to the current state of their problems with overheating and shut down I have decided to make a new purchase for my bussiness as a truck owner. I am torn between one of the twinhead durabook 15" models ( very tough machine) and one of the other manufactures. I want a processor with a fast FSB and a good L2 cache for quick bootup and being able to use a couple of programs and once. the centrino chips seam good also for batt. life. should I wait and get a core duo in the dura book or are there other one out there you guys would recomend? I'm mostly on the internet and use my laptop for watching movies. thanks for any sugestions in advance Don

If you are looking for a *rugged* machine, the Panasonic Toughbooks can't be beat, but they are not cheap.
For the money, it's hard to beat a Dell though. The Inspiron E1505 with optional Core 2 Duo is the one to look at. You can almost steal one of these if you can dig up a web discount coupon. |
