Laptop fans not working
My laptop (Great Quality rx-7334) has two fans. Both are not operating at all. I can remove the main (biggest) fan from the machine. I have not got up the nerve to try to undo (roughly 4) the wires from the LCD to get to the smaller one that faces the rear. My questions are:
Is the smaller fan powered? Will it hurt anything if I only replace the one uner the heatsink? Thanks in advance. **EDIT** I have removed both fans, problem solved. Last edited by just_enough; 10-05-2006 at 07:04 PM. |
