Windows Mobile 5 and Active sync Q???

So, i've got this new PDA, which i love, see sig. But i can't figure out something for the life of me. When i hook up the PDA to the cradle active sync pops up and syncs everything. Then i turn the PDA off and the comes right back on to sync again 15 minutes later. How do i get it to just sync once and then just stay off and charge? Thanks in advance!

i don't have activesync installed at present, but if you right click on the taskbar icon, there should be a setting that changes how often it will sync. i had always just set mine to manual, and then when i wanted to sync it, i either initiated it from activesync or by hitting the button to sync on the pda

For some reason i don't have that option to change how often it syncs. Any other thoughts?

My activesync had some issues with my phone at first (MDA). I gave t-mobile a call and they had it as a 'known issue' and they told me how to fix it. Give verizon a call

I just downloaded and installed a newer version of Active sync and its still doing the same thing. It won't sit in the cradle in the off position. It likes to stay in the on position with the screen dim. Will this hard my PDA's screen? I would rather have it completly off, but will having it on with the screen dim be ok?
