AC Adapter for Dell Inspiron 8600
My AC Adapter for Inspiron 8600 is faulty. I noticed Dell sells the replacement for this laptop for $67.45.

I am having problems with the power jack on my HP laptop, and had identical problems with a Toshiba power jack a few years ago. Exactly what problem are you having?

Seems like a wire fatigue problems. If I wiggle the cable at the end of the 3 prong the led light comes on and it works. I need a new one.

If you are talking about the AC plug, you could cut back 2-3 inches from the break and put on a new plug.
If the plug going into the power brick, should be able to just get a replacement cord-$12-$15 at Dell.
