portable DVD players?

Im looking for a portable DVD player in the 150-200 dollar range. I'd like widescreen, decent battery life (enough for a full movie), and good picture (most important thing!). there are seriously a TON of these on newegg, I have no idea what to pick. If you have purchased one, let me know what you think!

A few weeks ago the digital music zombies on the subway were replaced by something new, the "on the way to/from work" movie watchers.
New York's finest are going to freak, they preach alertness to surroundings.
That's when I figured out that the price had dropped, a lot.
Most of the ones I see on the subway are Coby. I know most people think that manufacturer puts out junk (with some reason) but the rush hour movie watchers don't seem to be having any problems.
Battery life for movies is 2 1/2 - 3 hours so you won't watch the director's cut of Return Of The King but anything else should be fine.
I thought, at first, that the players would get uncomfortably hot but that doesn't seem to be the case
I've used ordinary portable Coby DVD players before and found the problem was always heat. Anything that raised them an inch or two off any surface solved/prevented it.
3 years later and the first lot is still doing a fine job under regular use.

If you're quick enough, might be able to snag one for $25.

I think that lately portable DVD players are very similar. They are inexpensive to produce, so thats why you see them from tons of manufacturers. I have a 7" unit from Polaroid that I received as a gift. It puts out about 3 hours of battery and the display is nicer then I might have expected.

yeah, i was watching it, then i forgot about it when i went to go clean up my work bench in the basement where i do all my computer stuff...had pretty much covered the entire area in wood shavings/metal shavings and other stuff from case mods and various projects, so it needed to be cleaned...totally missed the opportunity on the $25 DVD player
