Cracked frame of a laptop screen

I accidentally dropped my laptop while it was on, and the FRAME around the screen cracked, which made the screen black out. After I snapped the frame of the screen back together, the screen came back from its black out and displayed everything properly again. And the laptop worked fine again too.

Now my question is: Is it still safe to use my laptop?

I mean, I know if the laptop battery cracked opened (as it have already), it is unsafe to use it because it may cause fires. So because of that, I'm wondering if the same concept would apply to the screen. Remember, it is the frame that cracked (cuasing the screen to black out until i snapped the frame back together again). Thanks in advance!

there is probably a cable that came loose from its connector and when the frame was snapped back together, it made a better connection. The blackout could come back if the connector shifts. As long as the LCD lites up, your OK. May want to have the screen inspected by a laptop service shop.

I'd glue the cracked pieces back together with superglue.
