wireless monitor

ok - I need to understand how they work. I saw viewsonic had some kind of a wireless monitor. However, this is what i would want to use a wirless monitor for if there is such a thing.

ok say I have 3 computers at home. I realize I can buy an omni switch and only have one montor. However, what if I just wanted my computers sitting on the floor and I wanted to just one wirless monitor to access all my computers from anywhere in the house. Yes I know I can buy a lap top. I would like to know what exactly is a wireless monitor? I think viewsonic called it a tablet client or something like that.

That's not really a wireless monitor - it's a Windows CE device that can access your network wirelessly. In other words, it's a semi-computer.

I don't believe that there is such a thing as a wireless KVM switch. Closest setup I can think of is a KVM switch that uses hot keys for changing channels and using a wireless KVM extender. A wireless KVM extender run around $700.
