Boot Issue
hey I have a problem can anyone help me.?
The computer was working just fine. It was properly shut down and turned off. The next time it was booted, it wouldn't get past the manufacturer's screen (it is an IBM Thinkpad and displays an IBM Thinkpad screen while running the POST and booting the BIOS). It was connected to an external bootable disk and still wouldn't boot. Can anyone figure out what may be the problem? |

do you get any errors? or does it just hang on the IBM splash screen?

Will it boot to a floppy or CD? Press F12 at the boot screen to get a menu to set a temporary boot device.
