Cordless Skype Type handset
I am looking at purchasing two cordless handsets for use with computers in two different countries and have come across a number of items. However I am unable to find reviews from users who have personal experience of these devices.Anyone here used any? If so please tell us.

i am assuming you are talking about ones that hook up directly to the computer. you may also want to consider a wi-fi phone, as no computer is needed. Small Net Builder (formerly Tom's Networking) just recently did a review on the new Belkin, and they really liked it
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/voip/...-phone-review/ as far as for hooking up to the computer, i have always just used a standard headset craig

I would be a little wary of using cordless handsets with Skype.
I use a USB Skype phone to call Skype to Skype from the Caribbean to the United Kingdom and the reception is not always great, add a wireless handset into that and I think you will be asking for poor reception. If you were thinking of using it to call within the same country I doubt if it would be an issue, usually when I use my Skype phone within Puerto Rico or even to the US mainland, the quality is better.

I never really understood the appeal of a phone style skype handset. Does having a phone shaped object in their hands really make people that comfortable? A stand-alone device like the belkin and some other products is cool, but if you're using a computer anyways why not just use a regular headset or even a bluetooth wireless headset?
