Laptop screen demolished, advice?
One of my friends celebrated a little too hard and knocked a table onto my other friend's laptop. The screen is completely broken, but the PC itself still works fine. The laptop is a Toshiba satellite a75-s2112.
I figured the best option would be to find a replacement screen on ebay and switch it myself, but there isn't anything on ebay. I found a few websites selling replacement screens for about $300 to $400. Do you think I'd be better off selling this on ebay with a broken screen and buying a new PC, or what? What's your advice? Not sure if it's worth putting $400 into a new screen, may be better to just buy a new PC. |

Can your friend afford to go out and buy a new pc?
P4/HT 3GHz-> Refurb prices look to be between $800 and $1100 USD....Good running lappy with small amount of warrenty... It's worth maybe $300 in its current condition...

Plug a standard monitor into it and use it as a desktop computer.
