wireless pci card

how much do wireless pci cards go for?
I have 2 XP machines. We will call them computer1 and computer 2.
One is a Dell and the other is custom made.
I have a WAP54G wirless access point for the 3rd machine which is a laptop.
I wanted to turn the XP machines "computer1 and computer2" into wireless for the internet connection. Do I just buy a wireless pci card? How much do they go for?

As long as you have some spare PCI slots in the motherboard then yes, all you need is a PCI Wireless card. If you want an easy option, you can get a USB wireless adapter but PCI is certainly preferable. Either option can vary in price, but shouldn't break the bank. I am using a USB adapter in my laptop and a PCI card in my desktop, both of which we under £30.

You have a wireless router already?

I recommend you use wired connections if feasible. It makes no sense using wireless for a desktop computer that's located in the same room as the router.

A matching PCI wireless card is a WMP54G, it's about 50 bucks.
