Understanding Laptop Temps

Hello there !

I've been working on a HP Paviliion zv6000 and have a quetion concerning temps.

I downloaded SpeedFan and am getting a HDD reading of 33C, Temp1 (ACPI) reading of 59 C and a core reading of 39C. Doe these seem in spec? If not, what do you think I can do to combat the heat?

It's AMD Ahlon 63 3500+ with 3G of RAM.

Thanks for all your help / advice!

Jeff

Thank you! Also, what is the ACPI reading? Is that the power supply?

Thanks again!

In this case that seems to be the processor.
