Asus F3J - HELP!

Here is the story: -
An Asus F3JA was minding it's own business, working away without it's user... When a leak directly above drips some (not very clean) water on to the keyboard. It remains running... then the users turned it off to wipe it clean. Furniture was rearranged... and the latop was plugged back in and was attempted to be turned on again... At first this failed... But after few more tries it got to the login screen of windows.... The user tried to logon... but this was to no avail...

The laptop now does not turn on. The power lights flicker when the power button is pressed...

The dripping only happen a few hours ago. Should we wait 24hrs.... Do we need to remove the keyboard to clean underneath? (If so, how?)

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

The laptop is still under warrenty, but the reciept aludes us...

UPDATE: -
All is ok now...

We took the key off the keyboard, cleaned up a bit...
Everything is working as before...

Sometimes hardware will dry out and work ok but if a transistor got wet it could possibly fry. Regarding not finding the reciept, this is not a warranty covered issue. I doubt the manufacturer would fix it under warranty, they may fix it for a charge.
Hope it works a day or 2 later when it all dried out.
