Question Targus Notebook Chill Pad?

Anyone have any experience with one of these chill pads for use beneath a notebook?

Does it aid in processor temps? Is it noisy or fairly quiet?

Thx,

Got one from Xion. Very quiet even on high. Dual fans run off USB. Keeps my lap cooler, don't know if it helps the laptop (but I can feel hot air blowing out, so I know it's doing sumptin).

I bought one by Antec and surprisingly it was extremely loud. I dont even use it because I cant stand the noise. Just make sure you get one that is known to be quiet.

I'd be interested if anyone's done (or can do) a before/after comparison of the temps. My laptop simply runs hotter than I'd like, so I want to address that if possible.
