Does anybody know about Sager?

I was trying to help a friend out. I wanted him to buy a custom built laptop from the people who built mine ( Sandia Computer Albuquerque, NM ) but they can't give him what he wants for $3000. So I went looking around. The object here is to avoid HP and Dell. Because both do not have very good customer service and most of the time you talk with someone in another country. We want a company that has its support here in the US. We are actually in Iraq working on a US base. Ok so we took a look at ASUS, and Sager. But after specking out two different laptops Sager was a better value. We were looking at a 17", Core Duo 2.13 GHz, 1 niVidia 7950 card ( With option to expand to 2 with SLI ), 1 160 HD @ 7200 RPM ( with option for two HD's and RAID 0 ), 2 Gig Ram all for 3035.00. But the question is who does their Tech Support? Is it in the US? I wanted this guy to buy from Sandia because if something needs repair you talk direct with the person repairing it. They are small company but real good but that also means they have to charge more for their laptops. It was worth it for me but he does not want to spend 4500.00. Mine is like the one I talked about above but with 2.33 GHZ Core Duo CPU and a 15" screen. So does anyone know who does Sager Support and is there support any good? Any other suggestions?

Dell support is really not that bad. Look at the XPS series, they have a LOT of bang for the buck.
