Trouble installing Verizon wireless modem

I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 Laptop.
T2350 CPU
1 meg RAM
Windows Media Center SP2
Intel Proset Wireless

Anyway I have installed the Modem and when trying to connect I get an error message which
simply means that you are not connected. I found this out when talking to Tech Support. The device will authorize...which would seem to me that it is connecting and also it will update. What conflict could there be that would keep the internetfrom connecting? Help!

Send a message via AIM to thefultonhow
Go to Start > Run and type cmd. In the black window that comes up, type ipconfig. What are the IP address and default gateway that come up for the Verizon card (not the wireless or wired connection)?

In order to get IP information when there are multiple adapters, you need to type ipconfig/all.
