Which SmartPhone OS do you like: Blackberry, iPhone, or S60
Well it's about time for me to upgrade my smart phone, and I'm stuck. My Blackberry 8700 has served well, but I'd like something with WiFi since I'm on a college campus so often, and something with a bit better web browser would just be nice.
I've loved most everything about my Blackberry OS so far, but there are just better options out there so I wanted to put it to you all. What SmartPhone OS of these three do you like best: Blackberry, iPhone, or S60? I'm either going to get the new Blackberry 8320, unlock an iPhone, or get a Nokia E61i. Just don't know which yet. I've played with all three, and could work around any of them, but I don't have one that really sticks out as my favorite. There are pros and cons to each one.

I haven't tried all three but ill try to help you out. In playing with the iphone for a while. The interface is very easy to navigate. The best feature on it in my eyes, is the web browser, the touch screen is very nice for the web. I just don't know if I'm sold on the touch interface. Also, now that the prices have fallen, it is more tempting.

The two things you listed that really forced me to add the iPhone to my short list. It's an actual web browser and not some stripped down or hacked together thing, and the price drop puts it on the same level as the other options.
The only thing that really pushes me over to the Blackberry is that it just works. It's almost imposable to screw one up. |

I have no idea how their smartphones are, but I like standard Nokia phones better than any other brand.

Of those 3 I will say S60 is by far the most powerful and customizable. The iPhone is a great device for what it does (can be hacked to do a lot more but most people won't do this). The browser on the iPhone is fantastic but it's built on the same konqueror core as the S60 browser so the differences are minimal (mainly the touch interface on the iPhone). S60 has a ton of apps available to it, the iPhone doesn't (not without hacking it and voiding your warranty anyway), S60 is infinitely more customizable.
As for BB, well, I find the interface confusing, Clumsy and old fashioned but it is the best email device available.

Series 60 all the way. Mostly for it's ease of use and 3rd party application's. I would go for the E61i. Nice large screen and it's very easy to customize and you wont have to worry about finger prints all over it. Where the Iphone looks great, it lacks the ability to customize it will wallpapers, ringtones, themes and 3rd party applications.
