Wireless connection constantly resetting
I have a wireless network. It works swimmingly for all machines save one. That one machine has a Linksys WMP11 desktop wireless card. When it connects to my Belkin wireless router it stays for maybe 5 seconds and then disconnects for 5 seconds. I can connect to another open wireless network I see in my apartment complex. and everything's cool, but when I connect to mine I get thrown off. could it be some sort of channel thing? All the other computers on my network. I have 2 laptops, work fine.
thanks, |

After a couple of patches and upgrades it still resets, but not every 5 seconds, more like every 5 minutes.

Try channel 1, 6, and 11. See if that makes a difference.

Have you tried uninstall the network card and reinstalling ? I would check for a update as well. I've had this issue before. Usually a update from the site helps.
