Switching my SIM card to a go phone
My phone that I had just broke but I plan on buying the same phone and just putting my sim card in it. The phone want to buy is now listed as a GoPhone though and the SIM card that I have was originally in a phone with a plan on it. So it does it mater if I put my SIM card from a phone with a plan into a GoPhone?

If it's from the same network provider it shouldn't make a difference. The only thing with some U.S. phones is that they are "locked" to a certain company's network. Same company no problem. Unlocked phone no problem. Different company, locked phone, possible problem.

Does a GoPhone even have a SIM slot?

if the poster could list the make/model of the phone it would be more clear, but he made it sound as if he knew his prior phone had a SIM and he'd be getting the same model. in reality, any GSM phone should accept a SIM card AFAIK. I know I've switched SIMs while traveling internationally, etc.
