Failing to connect GPS with usb laptop
I have a new GPSMap 60Csx Garmin and I am trying to connect it to my laptop running WinXP with sp2. It freezes during the configuration process. I found specifice drivers for the usb and used that configuratioin process... same results. The usb cord came with the GPS unit and is proprietory, I think.
Garmin's website, help site, sux and their live phone support is only open from 8am to 7pm week days only. Anyone have any ideas on what to try before Monday morning? Thanks! |

Do you have the MapSource Cd installed, and I dobt the USB cable is proprietary because I use my MP3 cable also to connect my Map 60 to the computer, you may want to try a different cable.
