New Laptop
Hi guys, my dad's been looking at refurbished laptops online at some of the big cheese's of our area computer wise. Now I've never really seen a problem with refurbished laptops as they can sometimes offer great deals, and ultimately its a new PC just one of the parts where old. If anyone strongly disagrees with refurbished stuff I'd like to know.
But my main question is this, I've caught my eye on 2 laptops for under the £400 mark which roughly translates to about $850. The first was an Acer, and I know from experience they are very reliable and come up top trumps most of the time, and out of experience of having an Acer laptop it's been reliable enough. The next is a more shady area for me, it's a FUJITSU SIEMENS laptops, now I've never heard anything particularly bad about them, and don't see them in the help section so I was just wondering if anyone has had any good or bad past experience with them. Just as a side note, the Fujitsu is much better value featuring a Intel Core Duo T2250, while the Acer only has a Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2060. And the Fujitsu is 1kg lighter with 1 hour longer battery. That aside i'm not so much asking for how good value for money as compared to other laptops they're pretty decent. But just a general manufacturer rating. Thanks in advance. |

Fujitsu is a minor player in the PC market, but from what I have seen they get good survey results when they are actually included in the surveys.
